Halloween Show

Poster I did for an upcoming Halloween show downtown.  I always love projects like this, there are no limits to the level of ridiculousness when it comes to punk fliers, the louder the better.

Shark Beast model sheet

Decided to go back and do some character support for these creatures. Some work in progress model sheets.

Two Shark-beasties!

Finished my two takes on this thing.  Aiming to be more decisive with my textures and forms.  Took two of the textures I had in the original design and tried to get some better consistency. One leathery and organic, the other jagged and rocky.

Second iteration of this creature.  Pushing the aquatic forms.

Shark Alien Variations

WIP of one of my variants on the shark beetle design.  Going for some more consistency of form and texture. Pushing the rocky, shale like formations on this one.

Fleshed out forms and starting to put in some rough color.  I only get a couple hours a night to draw, so its kind of slow going!

Adding some mountain studies I did, still got a way to go with these kind of environmental illustrations, but i learned a ton from these paintings!
